Community Farm
Riquezas Del Campo
In 2019, five members of PVWC founded Riquezas del Campo, a worker-owned cooperative farm, to grow Central American and Mexican food crops and create economic opportunities with a just and democratic model. The Workers Center incubated the farm until it became independent in 2022, and the two continue to work closely to advance goals of food justice and worker empowerment. In 2025, Riquezas farms on 3 acres growing blue and white corn for traditional corn masa along with other crops, and focusing on land access for Hispanic families.

“Ese trabajo me gusta y día a día, pues, uno va viendo la cosecha…las frutas y como van creciendo…No me gusta estar encerrada. Me gusta andar en lo libre.”
