Spanish conversation classes with Lucio Perez

Are you looking for a welcoming place to practice your Spanish? Going on a trip, or looking to brush up your high school Spanish skills? Or would you like to start from the beginning and learn to greet friends and neighbors?

Learn Spanish and support sanctuary leader Lucio Perez!

Lucio is a father of four who has lived in the US for 20 years. Originally from Guatemala, Lucio is fighting to keep his family together and overcome a deportation order by living in sanctuary at First Church Amherst.  Lucio teaches Spanish classes focused on conversation (with some basic grammar) for Beginner and Intermediate levels, in group or individual sessions.

All classes are held at First Church Amherst, 165 Main St. You will sign up for individual class sessions - come as often as works for you. Please pay for the class in cash to Lucio during your session.

BEGINNER GROUP CLASS

Wednesdays 10-11:30 a.m. (ongoing)
Thursdays 10 – 11:30 a.m. (ongoing)

Suggested donation sliding scale $15 - $30 per session

INTERMEDIATE GROUP CLASSES

Tuesday, 5:15 - 6:35 p.m. (ongoing)

Suggested donation sliding scale $15 - $30 per session

INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS

For people with some Spanish experience.

Register to schedule a time that works for you.
